Live Soundcard Suggestions - 8outs?
Hi,
I need a soundcard to use live that will allow me to have a stereo click track in my in-ears as well as outputs to run backing tracks, vst samplers and vst instruments.
Specs:
- 8 1/4" outputs
- One MIDI In/Out
- One assignable headphone jack
- No inputs needed.

Looking for some suggestions on recording equipment...
Hello guys, I'm kaehyu, new here; first post. :)
I was redirected here from the head-fi forums.
I need a little help starting up a small (for now) recording set-up for acoustic guitar and vocals and possibly other acoustic instruments. We'll be recording to my computer... but the thing is, we really don't know where to stat; we don't really know much about studio gear.
My first analog mixing desk - suggestions?
Hi there,
I am currently looking at used recording consoles that could be used to mix down a whole band in rehearsals.
An 8 bus desk would be great, as it will be feeding into my Yamaha AW1600 for the moment. This records 8 tracks simultaneously.
A 24 track desk would be the ideal size and would offer enough inputs for what I'm looking at.

Ribbon Mic Suggestions M260?
Hi all, I am in the market for a new flavor mic and have wanted to get a ribbon mic. This is my hobby studio, I just write my own music, record it, and occasionally record my friends band for demos. Nothing major. But I would like to get a ribbon for vocals and possibly Micing some Pipes, from reading here I'm guessing the ribbon gives kind of more of a bluesy vocal sound.

looking for mic preamp suggestions
hey everyone,
I've decided to scratch my mixing console and go with a mic preamp / AD setup. I only use the console for the mic preamps anyways so it's really pointless to have it in my setup.

suggestions for acoustic guitar model to record with
hey all
I'm having problems getting a good tone recording acoustic guitar. i have an ovation custom legend, which i have always hated (biggest waste of $k i have ever spent), and am looking to trade it for something which will get me better results. my gibson jumbo is way too boomy and bassy as well.
Recording suggestions
Hi everyone, Let me first state I have practically zero recording experience other than the few takes I have done recently. I am looking for some basic advice to make at least a decent demo/rough draft until we can scrape up some money to have a professional handle it.

Headsets & Headphone Amps - Any suggestions?
Hi there
I've come up against the problem of communicating with vocalists and guitarists in the the other room. It's a real pain shouting through the 2 closed doors which separate us. I do this recording stuff from home you see.

MICROPHONE SUGGESTIONS?
Hello all i'm gearing up a personal 'project studio' and currently using a cheap set of apex mics and a ShureSM57 (which i'm not a big fan of for recording guitar parts on next to even the cheap condensers) but any who i was wondering of some GOOD mics to invest in (no specific price range/purpose) so if you could leave a suggestion and a small description of why you suggest such a mic and for
