Description

The term "tracking" is a process when recording various instruments, voices etc used to create a song or production within its track. If a song is recorded one track at a time, we refer this to "tracking". Every time you record a new track, you hear all the other ones you've recorded as well. Hi all! I know these won't fit the "exclusive pro" standard, but how would you rate the event 20/20 bas V2? I've heard the old ones, but not the new. I allways thought the oldies deserved a second look, they weren't all flat but, once you got to know them, and to know how they handled lo freqs, mixes would translate very well. So I'm curious about the new ones...

Anyone?

Level/Metering when tracking into Pro Tools HD3-Help!

Dear friends,
Forgive my english
How much/how hi (level) exactly when we record materials in to Pro Tools HD3 with 192 I/O.
I used to record a track as hot as posiible, but when it come to mixdown and inserted an analog gear (ie analog compressor :dbx160A,Focusrite blue etc) to that track, the level seems too hot, and clipped.
Please need advice..

Tracking with limiters?

Hi all. This seems like a good place to ask about this. I record mostly acoustic music. Sometimes I record other performers (usually vocals, violin or piano), but more often I’m recording myself playing acoustic steel string guitar, acoustic baritone, classical guitar, various resonator slide guitars, snare drum and brushes, assorted hand percussion, etc.
