Just got an email about this. Is it actually worth it? I'm currently on Cubase 10 Artist so what does paying £128 get me? I'm really happy with what I'm using so I'm not that fussed about upgrading unless something is worth it.

Steinberg are doing off 50% for Cubase 10. I'm currently using 8.5 Artist and I love it but I'm unsure what benefits I will get from upgrading to Cubase 10 Artist? Better latency? Better layout? I'll be honest, I don't think I could justify Cubase 10 Pro because I've managed with Artist for so long without no restrictions. But what could I expect moving from 8.5 Artist to 10 Artist?

I'm thinking of what my next move should be as far as putting my new basic rig together, besides the seemingly endless computer parts. right now I'm rocking an Avid eleven, and Focusrite scarlett solo interfaces, and Alesis monitor one speakers, with an avantone on the shortlist, and a Bose home theater, and various Bluetooth and computer speakers.

Current vocal chain = Flea 47, Grace m103 pre (using both eq & the comp when tracking), using line-in on Focusrite Clarett 4 to to access the A/D converter, then thunderbolt into MacBook Pro / Logic Pro X daw. Recording in a treated room and I’m happy with the capture. . . sounds great for demos, SoundCloud, etc.

Hey there, I had a similar post a couple of months back, and you guys have been great, so I'd like to turn to you for help again.

I already have Melodyne on my Box 1 DAW FWIW. I don't want to miss the opportunity to upgrade as today is the offer's end. I'm using Samplitude prox2 suite as my Box 2 DAW and I haven't had a lot of experience with it yet. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. $199 is a lot of cash to me right now for the upgrade because my furnace just died and needs a complete replacement!
