Mic combination for Vocal & Acoustic guitar

Okay so I'm looking mic vocals and acoustic guitar. This doesn't have to be at the same time, though the option would be nice.

I was intending to buy an AT4033 for the vocals but keep getting told the AT4050 provides more options (not just cardioid etc).

Also I was thinking of a stereo matched pair of NT55s. I could also then use these on other things e.g. drum overheads.

Recommended vocal speech recording settings

Please advise the best practices for recording vocals in terms of sampling rate, bit depth etc.

We use equipments that support latest standards such as - Digi 002, Sony PCM-D1 and such.

We will be recording spiritual discourses / speeches that will be digitally distributed, stored for long time to come. These recordings will be the originals (master copies).

Question pertaining to DIY vocal isolation booth.

Cutting out background noises isn't really my concern. I write/record heavy metal, and basically I need to yell without my room mates and/or neighbors calling the cops on me. So I would like to build a small sound isolation booth. I was thinking about 3' X 3' X 6', with hinges between the walls so it would be easy to break down, and thus portable.
