my question is . .. . since this is direct to mt Tascam fw-1804 interface (looks like an 002 rack) would i have to use a DI box from the motif to the interface? i say this becuase my Line6 POD 2.3 says this is a good idea to do . but i think thats just for guitars becasue of impedence.. but i would like another opinion... thanks

I'm really digg'n the sounds of the Motif rack. My friend has one in his synth rack. I love the sounds, and when they're compared to other manufactuer's sounds, they seem to sound better.

I was realy blown away with the sound quality of the sounds from the Yamaha Motif ES series while visiting GC this past weekend. Has anybody had any trouble or would not recommend this keyboard? I'm a little skeptical when I hear nothing but "excellent" reviews about a product, it makes it hard to believe.

Which of these two keyboards (or sound modules)would you buy, and why? Please be as detailed as possible. I'm hearing from many that the Motif would demolish the Triton, but no one ever gives me the reason why.

Question... I have a laptop with Sonar, and i also have a Motif 8. I was planning on getting the M-Audio Quattro to act as a sound card/audio interface. . but i saw some bad reviews on it. people, please tell me the best way to go... Quattro? E-Magic? Any other suggestions?
