Hi to all forum mates,
I am using couple of recording softwares i.e Sony Vegas 5.0 and Audacity.
My vocals starts little earlier than the music and music running little faster.
This is happening with all of my DAWs.while recording.
Please help by giving an appropriate answer!
Love to all forum mates.

Only one post please ;)

What is the audio interface you use ? Usually they have a buffer option, you can adjust that will affect the latency.
Also, any realtime effect or virtual instrument will affect the latency. Try to convert the music on an audio track if it's not already done.
Further more : the computer drivers also can affect latency. From chipset to video card...

The best way to go is to the builder's website of your computer or parts. There's some tools you can use to identify the peripherals but none of the free one I know works good.
Go in the control panel then open system. open the peripherals and check which videocard you have, which chipset (if it's an intel, their website has a detection tool) also check with alesis...

audacity is still out there?
are you using asio4all?

generally speaking though, when you are recording vocals you want to turn off all fx and unecessary vsti, adjust the latency on your audio interface driver to at or below 128ms
imo anyway. more offset than 300 or so ms is noticeable.
also make sure your direct outs (if you have that feature) are muted.
nextly, make sure you are recording and playing back at the same sample & bit rate.
guessing you want 44.1k at 16 bit across the board.

"audacity is still out there?"

Yup. And last time I heard, it was free. Which would go a long way towards explaining why it's so popular with the entry-level noob crowd.

As far as latency, Josh said it. While recording, use the lowest latency setting that your I/O device will support. Increase that number when mixing.

Question to the OP...

You mentioned that tracks aren't lining up...while this is very likely a latency issue as PC explained, have you also checked to make sure that your project tempo setting matches that of any imports you may be using?
What is the source of the music? Imported pre-recorded tracks? Tracks you've recorded yourself? Audio? Midi?
If you are importing, have you made sure that you are importing them to the project start time/measure? ie 00:01:00
