I am currently in the market for a digital mixing board that has a computer interface
the one that has my interest is the
Roland VM-7200. the reason I like this board
is it links to the computer through an R-bus
connection from what I've read they are basically PCI cards. does anyone Know or use this board that could give me some insight good or bad or other suggestions

I found that board to be a little hard to learn at first and very limited on the layers available to you. It's either Midi control(send data) or only a mixer...it's weird and the R-bus is not as good as one would think it would be!

Digital mixer with a computer interface? I've heard mixed results on the Houston but that's dedicated to Nuendo and SX..so if you're not using those then its not much of a use to you then.

I'll have to look into that one further for you
