Hmmm....it's been a while on this one -
I've added a few mics since my last post on here:
Mojave MA-100 stereo pair (I actually got a prototype of the stereo power supply before it was available!) These things are friggin amazing!!!!!
Sennheiser MKH 8040 pair - Loving these. If I use these as mains (say, ORTF) I have to avoid using the MA-100s as omni flanks or it gets so warm and fluffy, I feel like I'm wearing a down jacket in summer in Texas...
AEA R88 - if you've never heard a mic that just SOUNDS BIG, try the R88. Damn!
I'm sure there's others that I haven't mentioned...but those are the important ones.
Cheers-
J.

I'm following you around today Cucco... :)
Been awhile since I updated my list too.
I agree on the AEA ribbons. Wes has a killer line of mic's. I had a tough choice between the R84 and the R88. I LOVE the R84. Amazing sound! But I'm still lusting for an R88. I grabbed the R84 after talking with Wes (nice guy, BTW) about needing a great acoustic AND electric guitar mic. The RCA-44 does a fine job, but it's another brush in the pallet that I felt I really needed for the many different types of acoustic guitars that I track.
The Peluso P47's are just plain kick ass. Amazing clarity and frequency response. The detail is stellar! The adjustable polar patterns are very precise and oh so useful.
Based upon the quality of the P47's (matched pair) I ordered a matched pair of the P12's. I haven't had a chance to try em out yet, though. This dang studio build is taking all my time, but if they are anything like the P47's... you'd be hard pressed to not wanna put a pair of em' in the mic locker! (I'll update again once I get a chance to break these bad boys out.)
There is one mic I'm still debating on getting... a Beta 98. I think it would really enhance the bottom end of a kick when matched up with the D12.
Anyway, here's the updated list;
