Audix OM series...the 6 is a GREAT Mic...you'll see them on almost every live television broadcast these days....they do mark out the logo most of the time, but I've caught them on more than one occasion.

I'm working with some buffet videos and while some venues he uses 58, most of them are OM6 - and the audix always seems to sound fuller/better - on him anyways.

I like the EV N/D series, but that's just me.

My default is an AKG C535. I've done a few FOH gigs and got to use that newer Neumann 105 handheld mic and I thought it was very good.

After listening to the mixes again I decided to go back to the ADAT and dig a bit. It seems that if I use only one of the Mic's on guitar (pan R) and then blend in the DX (pan L) using some reverb to sort of tie them in together, it helps out the vocal mic. The vocals always seemed too washed out - and I was blaming that on the mic. It appears that it was actually the two guitar mics picking up the VOX and killing the superbness of the b87a. I'll post a new rendition and show what I mean. But I've got to get that ready to go first.
