Working a client that does "old time" acoustic/vocals (with bass and drums but I'm mainly concerned about the acoustic/vox). Any ideas on Micing to capture that ballsy Martin sound?

Would minimizeing bleed between the tracks be an issue worth considering in this type of music? The guy's not comfortable with doing guitar and vocals separate (although willing to try, but it would probably affect his performance).

I have a limitied supply of mics:
Studio Projects C3 (cardioid, fig8, omni)
Shure KSM27 (cardioid)
SM57
SM58
AKG D310

I thought about using my SP C3 set on fig8 for the vox so it would miss some of the acoustic bleed, but I really want to keep both raw tracks as pure as possible.

Any help greatly appreciated

Mike
