:) Seb, this is Rick from AVF, I have to use the sign in name now. I was wondering, after seeing the nice wide swing VU meters on your units, what you have done in regards to driving them? Is it rocket science to not impede performance? I can just imagine the nice graceful dancing. They sure look great in the Pro Shop!

Hey Rick !

Our meters are driven by output stages that are the same as our audio output stages....
No chips , .. total Class A. :wink:
The output of the tube ( from the second anode of the Triode 12 AT7 ) hits the output level control then is routed to the two output stages ( audio and metering ) through a basic resistive de-coupling network.
This has the advantage , as you say , of not impeding the main audio output as meter coil impedance is relatively low and can knock a few db off the dynamic range that could be useful.

ROCKET SCIENCE:
Crynogenic propellants are always preferable because of their high specific impulse ... i.e propellant mass to propulsion efficiency.
We're working on the closed loop system where heat from the combustion chamber is used to re-pressurize the propellant tanks to obtain maximum Thrust to Weight ratio.
