Hey everyone - i'm looking into a new studio setup at home, and i'm curious to know you're feelings on how I should tune it up.

The room is in a basement, carpeted floor, wood panel walls, and bare wooden support beams for the ceiling with the 2nd floor plywood showing above (Drop ceiling was removed but can be reinstalled). As a drummer I know that there is very little (if any) resonance in the room as the carpet and walls just eat it up. Is there anything else I should do? Thanks in advance.

Thanks, checking out the site now. Heres another question thats probably going to make you laugh, but i'm not sure what to do. Currently my space for the studio setup only amounts to one room. I do not have a separate space for a control room. In the future it might be a possibilty, but not any time soon. The room is also not big enough to split in half. Will this work? or no way?
