So I'm taking the plunge and I'm going to build my own snake and mic cable using some bulk Mogami cable. Can anyone point me in the direction of a good "how to" site on building this type of cable. I'm not sure how much solder to use, or if there is a special solder, etc. Any help would be great!

Yeah, I actually am looking at getting the cable from http://www.redco.com. I've tried getting ahold of http://www.hotwiredcables.com like 3 times and I never get a direct answer, if an answer at all. But I like that redco.com posts their prices.
