I am new to DP 3.0. When I first started it up the internal metronome worked fine. Now I can't seem to get it to produce sound. I don't have any midi hooked up, and would rather not have too. I would like to use the internal audio click. I've turned off and on the metronome icon - no luck; I've adjusted the levels of the click - nothing; I have the click set to always, but recording and play back have no metronome. I can hear my recorded sound clip but no click. I've even trashed the DP Preferences. I don't want to have to build a click track myself.

Yes..Forget about the internal clik. keep a soundbite of a cowbell on your desktop. When you open a new file option/drag it (the cowbell) into the audio files folder of the new file..

Then use add soundbites (in the soundbites window) and navigate to the cowbell on your desktop.

drag and drop it to a track in your squence

Opt drag with a quarter note resolution... then loop the measure

I would like to use the internal audio click

nah.

Intresting Chris ... will have to try that ...

M ....
Had the same thing happen, but I heard it coming out of the tower. Checked my sound control panel, It would automatically go to "built-in" as opposed to "PCI 324", So now, before opening DP, I make sure it's set to PCI 324 ... and Vuala ... it works.

Hopefully this is same fix
