I'm not exactly sure what lining up the phase means. Can someone help me out or direct me to a source that can teach me what this is. I record a lot of local Chicago bands, and I'm pretty much a newbie. HELP!
look at the waveform from the top snare mic and the bottom snare mic. see how the waveform goes up and down. line the tracks up so they are in unison. you may have to phase reverse one of them to make it work right. (also for lining up bass di and cab tracks) Bring a bunch of these chicago bands over and I'll show you
