Ok, my band and I have a Korg D16, Nady drum mics with seperate Phantom power unit since Korg D16's don't have any, Boss GT-8 processor pedal, and our instruments. No software, though if we have to we'll get some. What kind of quality are we looking at? We have condenser mics for the vocals.

For an entry-level system, you are well off. It's not really necessary to have condenser microphones for vocals as SM58s are quite good for that application. I would rather use the condenser microphones as drum overheads. SM57/58 for guitar cabinets. DI on keyboards. I'm not completely familiar with the Korg but assume it is an all-in-one mixer/recorder? Does it have a built-in CD cutter? Or are you going to mix down and feed it out to another recorder/CD cutter/computer? If you're going to do that, some decent shareware audio software for your computer would be in order.

I would like to hear your best efforts.
