hey peeps,

this concerns the "recording" proccess of the project and not really the playback/monitoring (you wouldnt get a very "truthful" sound image from headphones would ya'?).

basically- i am recording my vocalist tommorow- problem being that the neighbours are in and i think i deafened them today while recording guitars!

so my thought was to stick the vocalist (and probably future guitars) in the room next door (away from neighbours) so then i though ah- headphones- but alas the cable did not reach- and i doubt you can get that many 6 metre+ cabled headphones.

so what are wireless ones like? would any of these do? (I'm not gonna need the surround sound ones am i. )

thanks for help.

I would think that wireless headphones wouldn't be too good with interference and possible drop outs if at too far of a distance from the main transmitter.

The best thing to do is simply get a headphone extension cable...works wonders and you don't have to pay a ton of more money on wireless and start troubleshooting issues with it!!

-ha! smattering....

I'm sure if you asked for an audio cable extension they would know what or where to point you!

lol, you obviously havent been to england- most shopkeepers here just sell the stuff and dont have a clue..............................

anyway- i got a cheap pair of headphones (£15) that had 6m cabling and they worked fine.

thanks anyway
