most of your pics are blurry, I'd fix that. maybe try ditching yahoo page builder and go for frontpage or something similar, use that and put some frames in your page to may navigating easier (as opposed to hitting the back button all the time). finally, go for paid webhosting with a domain name for that pro look, http://www.willmeyers.com or something, then you have a page as an outlet to anything you do, not just recording. (I use godaddy.com for $4 a month, never had a problem). hope that helps you a little to get your page goin. -john

IMAGING SOFTWARE -

The image displays are referencing the full-sized shots - VERY bad.

For example - The opening studio shot on the home page should be between 10-12K. The photo referenced is around 150K.

On the "sessions" page, the loaded media is over 1/3MB. That's going to piss off dialup users...

You need to resize the images to thumbnail images that link to the full-sized images. Or use WebDev software that does it for you...

If you're looking for some fairly easy to use and reasonably inexpensive WYSIWYG software, try Net Objects Fusion - Less than $200, and V-8 has some really great stuff built-in. Including photo galleries, cool Java effects, etc.

If you're using your site to gain business, you owe it to yourself. And, it's a tax write-off.

What in the world is that on the wall behind your monitors?

most of your pics are blurry, I'd fix that

i would if i could, but they were taken from a dv cam and i didnt use a tripod thats the best i could do with it

thank you guys for your honest answers. I'm not looking for 100 percent professional results just a simple page i could have a refrence for for posible local clients. I've taken a lot of your advice and redid a good majority of my page. The pics are now all under 22k each which is over 1/2 the size it was. I'm redoing the thumbnail pics for even smaller file sized pics added an intro page with intro music that i mixed and instead of direct linking to the files i made seperate pages for each thumbnail refrence pic and linked back to that page "no more back button work" thanks again :) now to upload a few more mp3 samples at nowhere and ill be at a good starting point. :)
