I have two of them and I love them. I'm a pretty much one-track-at-a-time recorder and when I need multiple mics I use my two PRO37R's and my Neumann U89i. Amazingly enough the AT's hold their own against the Neumann! For acoustic guitar for example, I point one of the AT's at the 12th fret and use the Neumann to look over the player's right shoulder.

A couple of years ago I did some recordings of a high school jazz band (a friend was the band director) and I recorded in three tracks, placing the Neumann center-stage (at the front edge of the stage) and the AT's about fifteen feet to the right and left of the Neumann. To my ears it worked well.

I first became acquainted with the PRO37R when I saw Doyle Lawson and Quicksilver, a bluegrass group that features a lot of harmony vocals and acapella stuff. They used a single mic stand with a PRO37R at the top and another on a bracket at about waist level. They gathered around the mic stand, moving in and out for instrumental solos, and the sound was awesome. I asked them what kind of mics they used and they next day I ordered a pair.
