Would anyone care to make a product suggestion for a 100% Cubase compatible MIDI interface please >
I have a fairly plain Windows XP PC running C4, and will be attempting to add/create MIDI drum tracks and possibly add/create MIDI kybd tracks. I would expect to play back audio tracks while recording the MIDI tracks. I understand there are challenges involved in keeping all of that synced up, but for today I am seeking only an interface product recommendation so i can get started learning the hook-up basics.
The attached devices may include some type of pads or electronic drum kit, and a Yamaha M08 ( in case any of that matters )

The Yamaha should work fine. You can use the keys to program drums or if you end up getting a midi kit, you can patch it into the M08. Just install the drivers, plug the M08 into your computer via USB and that should be it.
