What made me boiled down my shirt today is that I just ran on another Mastering video with poor audio.
I mean o_O ? If you are to promote your studio and services by giving advice online, why the h..l not taking time to do it right and show you are Worth it ?

I did some testing of various Oh placements. My room has a low ceiling 6'3 and I find I'm getting some kind of weird comb filtering if I set up OH's to close to the ceiling even though it's completely dead, it's insulation with fabric over it.. not a deliberate treatment setup. I have recently acquired a 24CH, 200B, with the two sweeping mid EQ's.(for $300 I got the mixer and a bunch of other gear). There is no hum in the power supply or the board, no scratchy pots or sliders, and everything seems to work well. I want to use it for recording, using a line off the INSERT jack to LINE IN on my converter.

I have 4 specific questions.

whenever i touch mic it has a weird ringing noise nt1a connected to a fast track solo connected to desktop pc. my mic has issues whats wrong with it. could be my setup not the mic? goes into a Avid fast track solo. Happens with speakers and tv turned of still. I had a CAD M179 a few weeks ago and it wasnt doing this. I was messing with all the pickup patterns on the mic and no ringing.
