This story is crazy and long, so I'm going to summarize it. Seven years ago I was able to recover some Owens Corning 703 from four cubicle walls that were stashed in a basement at an old factory job. Well, the album project I've spent the last 14 months on is now a wrap on my end and in the can, and files have been sent to Tom (Thomas W. Bethel ) for mastering.

We're planning on building a house with a basement, to include a music room. I can’t "build a studio" as such, just hope to optimize construction for better isolation than what a basement would normally have. I won't be building a room within a room or anything that involved. I've been looking at this TC Helicon Voicelive Rack and was wondering if anyone has had any experience with it?
I know there was another thread where the TC Helicon Livewire 3 and Izotope Nectar 2 were discussed, but was hoping to get anyone's thoughts or feedback on this particular rack mount version of the Voicelive.

Is there anyone who can identify from which microphone the back piece on my Cardyne II is from? It doesn't seem to be the original with an impedance switch...
