I am curious which version of OS 9 is most stable for audio apps. Come on folks, let's have it!

Hi! Recently I purchased an Alesis Classical Piano Q card for my QS 7.1. I bought this thing solely on a demo I heard on the musician's fiend (sic) website. Even through my crappy computer speakers this thing sounded really good. It seemed to sound WAY better than the stock QS pianos (which to me sound like doo doo)Well...not exactly.

I am looking into getting a Pro Tools setup for mac. It is mainly for consumer use in my house. Is digi002 the way to go now, or is it wiser to maybe get 001 and get the harware separately. (I need at least 4 mic preamp's)

We're a couple of UK based songwirters returned to the music business after a long layoff. We've been writing some songs in a project studio and want to come to Nashville for a couple of weeks next year to try and sell them . .maybe do a few small gigs.

After installing the Kxdrivers over my original SBlive setup, my latency went as low as 2.3ms, it was brilliant, BUT no signal was going through mic-in or line-in. I am totally out of ideas and would greatly appreciate any of yours! has anyone had the same problem? or is this a really annoying freak problem i have to work out for myself? :)

Ok..so Intel has the new Springsdale/Prescott combo coming out sometime next year...
