What is the best most economical way to control 24 tracks or more faders in your daw?

Does anyone here have any experience with the Manley VoxBox in comparison to other pro preamps such as GML or Flamingo? Anyone not like the sound from this unit?

Just looking for input before I plop down the major $$$ for the unit... I actually found a negative review online and it shook me... :eek:

Do you have a preference to a particular headphone type or to a particular model when monitoring a recording session?
The ubiquitous DT100's seemed to populate many studios at one time - (sound quality and/or ease of repair?)
Which closedback phones are the closest at giving a fair representation of whats happening?

I lurk in here from time to time, never posted though, and this is the only time I've logged in w/my name.
I'm a small-time producer, working with Narada, Virgin, Higher Octave, Capital, BMG, Windham Hill, and other small labels.

Another AD question. . sorry. I've checked out the blurb on the PreSonus web site and it isn't clear whether the Digimax rear panel inputs are just mic preamps or whether I can drive them from line level and/or instrument sources? I know there are a couple of instrument inputs on the front but I'd like to run more into the box at once.

Any ideas?

Here is my problem - I have a singer/guitarist that only sings well when he plays the guitar at the same time. I would like 2 separate recordings with minimal bleed. How do I do this?

I have added an Eventide Eclipse and in exploring it, I have realized that I've never gotten really comfortabel that I know what any of my verbs can do.
I have the eclipse, 2 PCM80s an M-One and a midiverb. While I can hear the differences among them, it's kind of a crapshoot deciding which unit to use on what track, then which preset.

I am new to digital audio. I use CakeWalk Pro Audio and am trying to integrate a Yamaha TG100 tone generator. In my Windows-based computer I have a SoundBlaster AWE-64 sound card/DI adapter.
