Just when you think you've got it down...I am aware that this may very well be a rediculous question, but...I noticed that the MIA sound card doesn't have a MIDI port. How would I go about connecting it to the MIDI in/out on my keyboard?

I`ve got a TDM mix system and was wondering whats the best way to deal with the delays you get in a mix on pro-tools (about 4 to 50 ms I think)
Do I have to use TimeAdjuster or not? What about drums, having different plugins on different tracks?

I recently got 2 Siemens V72 in very good condition. I'd like to get them racked and modified to include more, as well as variable, gain; maybe phantom power and a phase switch. Yes, an instrument input would be nice, too!

Has anyone heard these against one another?
What are the sonic differences for pop vocal application ie.Celine Dion, Whitney, open singing?

I like alternative rock, and I see lot's of posts by you diggin the API 3124 for phating up drums.

Currently I use a UA 2-610 for OH's, and four channels of my Digimax for kick, snare, rack & floor.

If I got the API to replace the Digimax, how would you distribute the API and 2-610 around my six mic kit?

I have 001/PC and the Alesis HD24, I can upload WAV. or AIF. files from the HD24 to PT and do my edits but when I look for the session track files to send back to the HD24, PT breaks each track into multiple audio files, ie. Track01.aif, Track01_01.aif, Track01_02.aif and so on. What am I missing should I not be able to get the .aif/.wav that I see and hear in the edit window?

I have a client who would like to import OMF files into his PTLE system. Is this possible.If it is what other files might he need.

I have a client who is trying to mix what we've tracked and overdubbed in my studio with DP 2.7 on his PT LE rig at home. I gave him the OMF files and also copies of all the audio files. He has not been able to import them. Is this because he is a moron or is it not possible to import OMF files into Pro Tools LE. Also, do any of you have tips for transfering files to clients with Pro Tools.

I have a Pro Tools MixPlus+++++ system and currently use my Yamaha 02R for the mic preamp's and monitoring via Digi's ADAT bridge. I would like to loose the 02R because it takes up too much space and is not a great choice for mic preamps . I do not feel it worthwhile to spent a bundle on separate and expensive mic preamps and Line level to Light pipe A/Ds. . .
