Just curious if anyone out there has a good source for purchasing vintage gear. Playing treasure hunter at garage sales & pawn shops is fun, but sometimes you have to find a specific piece of gear.

I'm posting this for a friend that does not have internet access currently... He is doing a project where he's outfitting a new studio for doing live broadcasts of jazz.

Drummers... the ones whose left foot is always dancing on that hat pedal, whether they're playing the ride or the closed hat.

my band is doing an album where we all share in the publishing of all the songs. one of the members wants to record a version of one of the songs he was primarily responsible for with another side group that he has. we will still be listed as authors and the ascap publishing company will be listed as well.

I'm gonna record a choir in a church in the next weeks, and I was looking for everykind of advice. I have done it before, but this is teh first time with ggod equipment and teh possibilites to work on teh setup of the choir too.

I have a screamin' PC with NT on it right now. (933 PIII coppermine w/512 mhz SDRAM SCSI RAID O) I want to buy Pro Tools but want to use it with this computer. My main concern is tranferability between my computer (.WAV file) and a MAC at another studio (SDII files). Other than the obvious ethernet, is Pro Tools able to read and convert files from one computer to the other and vice versa?
