Series 500 vs. 19" rackmount - pros and cons
Forums
What's your current take on these two designs? My biggest concern would be in the PSU ( power supply unit) . Do you think yours is compromised to save space in comparison to the 19" rack model(s).
I have an 8 rack SPL Rackpack and love it. The PSU is huge, same one as with my Neos. Its built like a tank, but this particular rack is not built to host other 500 series products.

Delay - what do you like?
Forums
Not a delay setting per se', but a type of delay, be it a plug (Waves, Sonitus, Blue Tubes, Lexicon, Kjaerhus, etc) or even perhaps an actual outboard model, and any reasons you prefer one over another.
Although, your preferences as to what delay settings you like on particular instruments or scenarios is more than welcome as well!

Hello, Everybody I'm brand new to using hardware for years I've used software vsti's only but recently decide to buy a couple bits of hardware and I'm unsure on how to uses them with Live 9 software on PC, what I would like to do is write midi parts in Live 9 using the sounds from my EMU Proteus, Nord Rack 2x or if that's not possible record then direct to live.

Recording drums under less than ideal situations, please help.
Forums
Hi! I'm going to be recording a drummer to tracks already done. He's an excellent drummer with excellent gear, including mics.
I've got 2 choices - record in a reverberant garage (American style, 2-car, sheet rock, high ceiling, and pullup door), or record outside. It's in the country so outside noises won't be a problem.

Greetings folks!
I was just curious if anyone here have tried these mics? I had some extra cash and itchy fingers so I just clicked home two of them in hope of maybe use them as overheads or stereo mics on acustic guitar. Maybe they are to crap for that so I might end up using them as room mics when recording drums?

Mastering Software?
Forums
I'm in the market for mastering software that is comprehensive and will allow me to take 24 bit stereo recordings from my DAW to final production level (red-book compliant) broadcast ready, final CD format (I am term dumb). I've read almost all the mastering posts on this forum and realize that everyone warns against me doing this and that I Must go to a professional mastering studio.
