I'm looking for a compatible device to work with my logic pro 9 so it can sync to my Tascam TSR-8.

i need something that will stripe smpte onto tape, then read and convert Smpte into MTC for DAW and Tape Sync.

I just am curious what other people have in their home studio... I have a small one that i am currently working on and it's finally getting there.

My mate has a Yamaha 01V96 digital mixing desk he willing to let me borrow and I was wondering if I could use it with Pro Tools to use as either a controller or to actually record?

Hi guys, So I'm not new to music, but pretty new to home recording. I got myself an ART Pro Dual Pre USB Interface so that I could record vocals and guitar at the same time, but as different tracks. But when I hook it up to my laptop and record using the Edison recorder in Fruity Loops 8 it records it as one track.

Jw if anyone has tried PT 11. curious to hear some thoughts as to if they improved upon some of the prior weaknesses of the program, w/ they're new audio engine/ plugin format. i'm not in the market at all for a new DAW, just curious about the new PT.

I'm looking to get a microphone for general home podcast/commentary use. I'm a male with about an average tone voice, but I sound kinda nasaly on my microphone. I've got a mechanical keyboard so I'm thinking a dynamic microphone would be best, but I'd like to hear your thoughts as it's not necessary to me. I'd only like to spend around $200.
