Test : VST Plugin The Dreammaschine

Hi,

I have a basic karaoke system and now I want to add a good digital recorder to my system so I can record our songs. Output will come from my mixer then to the recorder.

Does anyone know if there is a plugin (VST) that will tune an audio source, not to a specific note, but to the pitch of another audio source? Say if I wanted to match the chorus of another vocalist, and for example: retain their unique vibrato? or match closer their singing style?

I do video game commentary on YouTube and I purchased a Blue Yeti mic sometime back. It's quality is much better than my previous mics but doesn't sound anywhere near as good as a lot of other Blue Yeti mics I've heard.

Thinking of picking up a pair of these. Can't really go more expensive than this.
I'm aware a lot of people seem to like the KRK Rokit 5's, but I've heard more than enough negative opinions on those monitors.
I've been hearing overwhelmingly positive reviews about these monitors.
Anyone have any opinions on the Yamaha's?

Hi, so I've got a Line6 Pod Studio UX2 (audio interface), and I'm getting a pair of Yamaha HS50M Studio Monitors. Can somebody look the two up and try to figure out what cables I need to hook the two up? Is it two TRS cables? Balanced? Unbalanced?

Hey! Newbie here! I'm having trouble with an interface I recently bought for about a hundred dollars at a local music store. It fit all of my qualifications; I really just need an XLR cable for my Shure SM-57 (that I use purely for vocals) and a 1/4th inch cable for my guitar, bass and the box I use for drum mics (long story, not apart of this problem).

Here is a new song I've just finished. I have got so close to it that I can no longer make any valid adjustments because I'm just too close to the whole thing.

I've written, sang, arranged, played and produced the thing and although I think it is a decent standard I am asking for opinions on arrangement.

I'm looking for an audio interface that will give me a great sound for less then $750. I'm using a Mac, so I'm looking at the Apogee products but $1395 for a 4x8 interface, that's a bit steep. Can you help me on this one? Thanks! :biggrin:
