Hi I am new to recording and have downloaded Pro Tools first to get an idea of how to use the software. I just want record Guitar/Vocals to start with, I have a Soundcraft Signature 12 Desk that I'm using as a interface. The Pro Tools doe's appear to recognize the interface but doesn't recognize individual channel ie.

Anybody have any thoughts? If someone wanted a Les Paul but couldn't afford a Gibson is an Epiphone a decent alternative? Because i want to buy new one and i discover more about Epiphone Les Paul. Is it worth my money?

I thought it could be cool to share our latests things learned or the thing you just realised you could do differently..

I have an older Mac and Kontakt 4. I've since upgraded my OS to the highest level my Mac can handle which is 10.11. That OS is too high for Kontakt 4 and Kontakt 6 (the latest) needs 10.12 which my Mac can't go to.

What alternatives bundles are there for Kontakt 6 where it would have pianos, organs, brass and strings? Or - is there a place to buy Kontakt 5?

Im planning to record some youtube videos and the mic I'm going to use is Shure SM7B. So since its an XLR mic I need some sort of audio interface.

A tech is currently refurbishing my Yamaha 03D console, whose ergonomics, MIDI implementation and built-in effects I love (I'm more creative with this old console, which I can play like a synth to create crazy sounds, than with newer ones).
