Mixing an entire song with Magix Samplitude

In this video, I take free mixing exercise tracks and mix them. I didn't know the song, the artiste or heard the tracks before starting to mix.
I thought it would be a good Idea to show the thought process and steps taken when mixing.

On top of that, I forced myself to only use included tools in Samplitude so you can have an Idea of what it offers.

Existing Duct Help

I have some existing duct runs feeding my kitchen and laundry room. One 10ft long run and the other 6ft long run. They do not run parallel to the floor joist, so I cannot build a soffit like the normal way and box it in because of a door way and staircase. I’m stuck running the existing duct though the open web joist.

No phantom power from Scarlett Solo 1st gen

Hello.

I just bought an AKG P220 and wanted to try recording with my Focusrite Scarlett solo. But I don't get any sound from it. When I connect my Shure SM58, the recording works just fine. The 48V switch is on. And the Scarlett is connected via a USB hub which also has its own power supply.

Can be the problem in the XLR cable?

Cheap mastering in 2019

I'm getting close to finishing a lot of my songs and I'm down to just listening through them and putting vocals on the ones I'm happy with. Many years ago I used to love T-racks 24 for mastering but for many reason, it's unusable. What is the cheapest way of achieving what that program did? Is the way forward to now use mastering plugins rather than standalone?
