Please dont laugh, but I need some advice on the following EQ settings. I use Cubase SX and I have a 15 band 2/3 octave, 12db boost or cut EQ plugin which I would like to set up to imitate a hi fi setup for Classical, Rock, Pop, and Dance, so that I can get a little idea what my music will sound like on average, with different hifi setups. The frequencies are as follows:

a small Mac-App where I can read the TOC and the ISRC Codes from a Audio CD. I have an old Astarte CD-Copy but it doesnt't read the ISRC and UPC/EAN Codes. Or my MasterBurner doesn't write it ! Can anybody help me ? Thanx from Germany

Could I get some feedback on what you guys are using more typically for a mixdown medium?

A while ago I picked up a Fostex E-22 1/2" 2 track (15-30ips) and am pondering whether I should get a couple channels of SR for 15ips mixdown or junk it and get a masterlink. Or is it really worth it to have both these days (analog and digital mixdown formats)? Any feedback on SR at 15 ips?

Has the thought occured to you that from my posts you do not need to come to florida since wave files via the net only take 12 mis each(24bit 25 to 30) to x fer right into the studio here for a demo ck out>?

Why get on the plane (even though this 20C weather is nice) when you can travel at light speed?

Which Loudness Level must I record the file before I start mastering? Do I have to record it as loud as possible?

I do not want to sell one kidney, but which would you recommend me as a "pro" entry gear for more serious mastering?

I just do not want to be seen as "one more guy playing mastering stuff with plugins.."
