Preparing mixes for mastering ?
Hey everybody, I've got a question that has been asked a few times before, but I've got a few different parameters going on here and I thought I'd post a new topic and ask about 'em.

Can any Mastering Professionals Teach me Mastering over AOL
Can any Mastering Professionals Teach me Mastering over Aol Messenger or Yahoo Messenger? I will pay you money. I watched almost every video on the internet about mastering. And read a book but this guy name Bob Katz but I understand the concepts but when I really apply the stuff it doesn't work that well.
Thanks so much.

Kudos to Zilla
In case you guys haven't seen lately, a lot of "big box" stores are carrying LPs this year for the holidays (maybe permanently?)
Anyway, I just picked up the remaster of U2's JoshUA Tree - Assistant Mastering Engineer and tech credited as Scott Sedillo - AKA "Zilla."

Master CD
I use stand alone recorders for all my recordings, when everything is said and done and all mixing/editing/processing/comp is completed,I send the music to a pc via Cubase LE (POS)for the simple purpose of being able to record a master @24 bit,and converter it to what ever I need, but come to find out,it will no longer let me convert to MP3 without updateing to a newer version for more $$$.
