I have a quality Kawai grand in my house that I've been skimping and saving for years to buy, and I've finally made my dream come true after much close listening and play testing of hundreds of instruments. Now I want to record it and need to get some mics for the job.

I finally figured out live, crisp monitoring with my crappy Soundmax Integrated Digital Card (optic out).

Kristal with ASIO4ALL driver and Adobe Audtion 1.5.

Input - Plain ol' USB Mic with no driver (default WDM driver)
Output - Roland's DM-20 Digital monitors (optic in/out)

Hey every one I would apreciate some help with some mic choices for my little home studio...

I would like to add a pair of ld condencer mics to my collection...
as of right now I have the following mics

Sennheiser 609
Sennheiser 835
Shure 57
Audix d6

I just got myself a used Nakamichi MR-2 tape deck. Problem is, they do not have the user's/owner's manual.

Does anyone either have this manual or otherwise know where I can find one, free if possible.

I currently have MXL v69 mogami edition tube mic and i'm looking for the right preamp. i was thinking of getting a tube preamp but somebody had told that some problems might arise. i just wanted to make sure if i do decide to get a tub preamp there won't be any problems.
