How are these new units coming along? (EQ, Comp etc.) Haven't heard anything about them for a while.

I'm sure my AKG microphone is set up properly, but when I click record no vocals show up in the audio track in Cubase le. Everything is connected through my INSPIRE 1394 with a firewire connection.

I'm running Logic 7 on a G5, I also have a FW-1884 and a Virus KB. My problem is that when I'm playing notes on the keyboard into the sequencer, I'm getting notes that stick or the duration of the notes are long. This only started a couple of weeks ago when I purchased my FW-1884. I would hate to go back to my previous setup since I really love the new unit.

Can somebody exaplain why can't I import .wav audio files into my sessions? There seems to be a problem with this .wav's, I cant open .wav files in drumagog either.

what must I do?

Hey guys I am new to message boards but I would like to obtain the graph or would like to know the db for the frequency response for the JBL Control 1 Xtreme please. If someone could test these monitors to see how flat thay play that would be great.

Okay - so my PreSonus Central station has gone flakey. The rackmount portion works fine, but the gain control on the remote is terrible. It scratches and cuts out on both or either channel on its own.

I shouldn't have expected anything more though from PreSonus...

Ok i have been using mac and pro tools for a while. But i am fed up of digidesigns lazy bug fix updates.

I have pro tools m-powerd and the m-audio 4/10 has better intergration with any rival companys product.

I really dont get this. I get a whopping 512 samples of latency on my system.

So I'm making the step to Cubase SX3, and I couldn't be happier. I just need to know, how do the included effects etc.. stack up? I noticed that the EQ is integrated in the channel.. convenient, but I also read that the quality leaves a bit to be desired, and doesn't match the standards that Nuendo sets forth.

Anybody have a Lexicon 95 Primetime II Delay unit? I wanted to know if they are still worth the investment?
Also, I noticed the Lexicon PCM units are re-selling for a little cheaper now adays. Well, at least quite a bit less than for what they sell for new.
And is there a reason behind the lower re-selling price for these units.
