Is there anyway of turning an Audio Out (Headphone) signal into a usb digital signal..

I don't have a brilliant sound card, and i would actually prefer it if there was some way of turning an audio conneciton into a usb connection.

(Incase i have to use a different computer)

i was just wandering if it is worth it to DIY pads and if so what to use for that aplication?

part two: what pads do you use if you dont have one on the pre? also does it make that mutch of a difrance.?

I am using Sam 7.21 and have just upgraded to the EMU 1820. I cannot for the life of me get the two to work together. I route sends to Samplitude from the EMU PatchMix - I can then multi track record in Samplitude - but the whole time its recording (and playing back the recording) Audio glitched occur, errors (in Samplitude) occur etc. Can anyone help?

I am just trying to get the best out of my equipment.

I'm talking about the following units I have.

MOTU 896HD,
dbx 1086,
PreSonus DigiTUBE,
Focusrite TrakMaster,
ULTRA-DI PRO DI4000

I've just purchased a little 4 channel headphone amp for a location recording rig I'm putting together. I'm looking to run a stereo headphone mix straight from the back of 2 channels on my 888 audio interface into the h/phone amp. This would mean running 2 XLRs into 1 TRS. In other words 6 into 3.

Just wanted to check for any tips on hardware reverbs with great performance and bargain 2nd hand prices. I need a couple more.. For example I got a Sony R7 for about $150 and it sounds amazing, especially the plates. I know some people still use Quadraverbs (which you can get for next to nothing) and some of the cheap Lexicons do sound great aswell. Any other units I have missed out on ?
