hi, I'm am new here, and i have a big problem. i have a Roland VS *2480CD, and it just completely stopped working. i turn it on and the screen says, SUB SYSTEM NOT WORKING. i have no idea what that means. roland hasnt got back to me yet either in 4 days. if anyone can help, or guide me to help, i would appreciate it.

I have a m-audio elta 44 breakout box, and Cubase se. but for some reason I can only use the first two inputs on the breakout box. liek If I try to select it to come from inpur 3 it won't let me, any ideas as to what I can do to solve this?

Would the Lexicon MPX R1 MIDI Remote Controller work with other processors besides a Lexicon, and could i put a patch anywere i want on it?

What application and or sound card do i need to capture sound files(an interview) 2-3 hrs from a Sony himd minidisc. Sound stage, Sony's software 3rd party aplication is not supported by mac. These files need to be converted to aiff, mp3, etc.. for use to edit with.

first question: delay and reverb are placed after the Preamp in your signal chain right?

mic/preamp/delay/reverb/soundcard is this right?

second question: where would a EQ be placed in this signal chain?

I need to connect the dbx376 tube strip that I just recently purchased to my DIGI002 (rack). I'd like to do that via S/PDIF leaving the analog output to a monitor mixer.

The problem is that the host recording app (Cubase SX) doesn't display a External sync option in the combo box for synchronization selection in the ASIO dialog.

Starting a live rig and want to know where i can get used boards. We're looking at 24-32 ch.

Any thoughts? I happen be a very big supporter of Digital Performer. I dont understand why the hype about Pro Tools. Any other DP users in the house?
