Got my 4000e
Plugged it in for the first time last night.
All I can say is WOW! I've never heard a TLM-103 sound so big and warm. It's now a much more versatile mic.
I retracked some vocal with it in an existing session. The Seb tracks just sat in there beautifully and clearly without having to do another thing to them.
It's a big winner!
Thanks Seb.
Mark

Simple question about running a moderate size PA.
I'm currently in the process of putting together a pretty good kickin PA to host local shows and what not, and I know this is the dumbest question ever, but it's the only thing i'm left to ask. Do you crank the level on your power amps to what you know your speakers can handle and just depend on the output level of your mixer?
Don Henley
anybody know what eqipment they used on recording '' End of The Innocence'' album

wanna sell my 002r, M_AUDIO comparison?
Hey all, okay I searched and couldn't find an answer...
the day has finally come when digi lets go of their tight ass restrictions. Anyway, I wanna get rid of my 002r and get something to replace it on the m-audio end of things (I also use DP and cant stand the core audio driver hence the need to get something else).

Mackie 624's problem
I have designed/built a lot of very nice speakers, I measure them and even sell them on occasion. I have excellent acoustic treatments in my studio - I know the frequency response of each wall. - so this is not a naive question (I hope :).

New Thorax vs. . Old
Hi Seb,
I just got my new Thorax yesterday - looks beautiful. I haven't had a chance to get it set up yet (in the process of redoing my so-called home studio) but I saw the previous post that mentioned you were tweaking the Thorax model.
I have the "older" model - or at least it looks like it is compared to the new pics on your site.

M-audio / Pro Tools Lovechild?
what are your thoughts on this development, and the pro's and con's in relation to running with an LE setup?
these things should be left for bigger techies then myself...

Logic Express 7 on OSX - question
Forgive me if this question is silly, but i'm just getting to know all this stuff..
In Logic Express 7 .. it says it can record 12 analog inputs..
...i want to be able to record about 14 separate analog tracks (not all simultaneously) and be able to mix them in a single project. Is this possible with LE 7?
