Anyone familiar w/ this goliath? Made in late-80s/early-90s. It's a 3U space 4-band stereo (dual mono or link-able stereo) parametric, but I can't find any specs about it on the web. I know Ashly was an early pioneer of parametric EQ. Is this sucker tube? Transformer? Gerbil on a wheel (it's big enough to house a whole family of wheel-running rodents)?

Anybody know why Wavelab will not see my HP-Writer? It will not see it from either Basic Audio CD or Montage for burning purposes. It does recognize it for import purposes. It is listed under help/System info so it does recognize it's there but when I try to 'Write CD' from anywhere it will not list the burner. What's up? Anyone? J

I'm a musician turned engineer. Just finished school (recording workshop OH). I'm interested in building a mobile recording set-up for live sound. I would like to use the clubs mics by splitting the signal via snake. Any suggestions on gear or how I should approach this?

Anyone tried one of these yet? How does it compare with the RNP? Significantly better than the pres in a Ghost?

I'm looking for an analog 8-track reel to reel. Sound quality is a big concern, but so is price, so I'd like to find a nice balance. Which models fit this description? Where should I look, pawn shops, ebay? How much should I expect to pay for a decent unit. Thanks for the help

Just got a new DAW P4 and running Cubase SX. Having trouble getting the US428 to work. All the buttons are not functioning. I read both manuals and just can't seem to figure out what I'm doing wrong.

A little help, please.
