I am in the process of starting a life in music production and am thinking about joining a PRO. Do we have representative artists from BMI, ASCAP, and SESAC hare at RO? If so, i'd love to hear about your experiences with these organizations.

lately while doing a mix, i routed drums to a group channel to control all the drums at once. this was no problem.

however i had placed some reverb through a send effect, not an insert on each channel but from effects send 1. different amounts for each instrument etc. this was no problem as well.

I just would like to know what is so great about this pre. Suppose cost was a non-issue. How with the RNP stand?

One last request for opinion - How does the RNP compare to the Sytek 4-channel?

The new PC (Dell 8250) is set up, SONAR 2.2 & WaveLab 4.0 installed; & the OS (XP) is optimized for digital audio multitracking.

The new Audio Interface (LynxTWO) sounds incredible; & it has such a high quality analog front end that it picked up a problem with my input device chain I never knew I had.

Since Mars Music went under in the US, there's not much of a dealer network, but this Chinese-made mixer has peaked my interest. And I need a new 8 bus board.

Anyone familiar with Phonic's larger boards?
OR should I be looking at something other than Mackie?

I am auditioning an Alan Smart C1. I like it a lot, and I am wondering about the C2. Is the C2 an "updated" C1, or are the two completely different units? I don't want to go with the C1 if the C2 "blows it away" in some fashion. Any help out there? Thanks
