Yamaha NS-200Ma Speakers
And Lord, what a package to get. The guy packed them really well. They were big, and lucky that because (surprise) FedEx treated them like they contained blank newsprint or Saddams' new Waterford crystal, or something.
They've seen some use, but they work. They are unmatchd, and I'm going to get a break-in CD. (Suggestions on which one, and where to get it, anyone?)

"borrowing" from other recordings?
I've got a CD that has just about the most gorgeous recorded snare drum sound I've ever heard. So, I started thinking, "It would be very easy to sample the snare sound off CD and use it in my recording, nobody would know!". Of course, I would know, which is why I won't do that, but it would be very easy to do.

Narrowing the near-field of choices...
I went to my local Sam Ash and Guitar Center stores this weekend to listen to nearfield monitors. I think I've narrowed down my choices to the Mackie 624, Tannoy Reveal, and the Event 20/20.

3-3-3
Tomorrow is the big day.
Dark side of the Moon goes on sale in Super audio compact disc in multi-channel and 2 channel, with redbook support.
Let us pray they did not muck it up.
Remember, Alan was not even approached for this remix/remaster.
Fingers crossed.

One Year after: Pro Tools Hd. What are your impressions
I would like to see your opinions after 1 years using your PT HD rigs. We still have to evalate the costs of going to PT6 and plugin upgrades to OS X / total compatibilty with 96k/88k/192k sample rates.
So... was or has it been worth? some peple said there was a reasonable difference but nothing like Day and Night. It is most due to new converters.
What happened to these musicians? Wanna see your stories
Hi friends. For those who don't know me, I am a recording engineer/musician from Brazil, 33 years old. I would like to know what happened to the following groups/musicians listed below. They did lots of success in Brazil with one or 2 songs and I have never heard of them again.
