Mastering Software?
Hi,
I need a bit of advice on which mastering software to purchase. I have narrowed it done to WaveBurner Pro and Spark. Does anyone have any thoughts on either on one of these programs.
Thanks,
Mike

Budget mastering software
Im new to recording and have limited equipment and funds, so if my method seems unorthodox, please forgive me. What I have been doing so far is recording through an analog mixer to a stand-alone 24 track hard disk (Mackie SDR). I track up to 22 tracks and then mix these while bouncing the stereo mix to the last 2 tracks.

Nashville runner service
I have just started offering a service called MyRunner.com providing runners to small studios in the Nashville area. The idea is to bring the service a large studio can provide to smaller studios.
1. Meals- We can deliver meals from the restaurant of your choice. We have included menus from a few of our favorite restaurants in the area and can add some of yours as well.

Waves Version 4.0
Waves has introduced version 4.0 of their plugin line, which included support for Mac OS X. They have also introduced a new plugin , called the Renaissance Channel, which is a pretty cool looking channel strip using Renaissance technology with EQ, comp, gate, and much more. Looks pretty awesome!

Sonar and Outboard effects
Say I had an older outboard effect that I really wanted to use with Sonar.
Is it possible to use a Sonar AUX send, assign it to a 1/4" out on my sound card, have it run through my outboard effect, then feed it back into on of my 1/4" ins?

Mastering Software?
Could anyone out there give me a heads up on Wave Burner Pro or anyother Digidesign compatible mastering solution. I am a heavy Logic Audio user so Wave Burner seems like an obvious choice.I have a full on TDM system with all of the trimings. I am less concerned with plugins then I am having a good sound user interface.

Masterlink remote - What is the deal?
What is up with this remote? I have never expirienced anything like this. You have to be directly in line with the indicator on the Masterlink, or it doesn't work!
Any one else have this problem?

Picking a Headphone Amp
What do I need to keep in mind when picking a headphone amp? I'm looking for something that allows separate mixes, and not just separate levels of a single stereo mix.
Is headphone impedance important (I know it is in matching live speakers to amps, I figure the same physics apply to headphones)? I am confused by the dizzying variety of impedance levels, and the impact they have.

LADSPA Plugins
I've done some quick testing using ecasound, and some of the LADSPA plugins, especially the 'preamp', and 'unmatched' plugins. The preamp plugin is designed after a Fender 5F4 preamp stage, and the unmatched plugin is "... a simple effort to emulate certain aspects of the tone of a real musical instrument amplifier, in real time".
