I am currently using Sonar XL on 2 PC's and need help with syncing them together. Ive played around with the setup a few times, but not sure I'm doing something correctly. The first pc is using the MOTU midi timepiece av. Im using the sound cards midi port on the second pc to connect them together. Everything else is working great.

I've been watching this wonderful DVD that was recorded at the Ryman. Besides being blown away by the talent I am equally in awe of the sound of the room and the recording. Anyone, know who is responsible for recording this masterpiece and what equipment was used. I'm intrigued by the mics, look like old Neumann's ..My god it sounds just wonderful.

I've been searching the net relentlessly for the past few months looking for any information relating to the recording of DSotM. The info I've found is sparse and not very helpful. Basically I've learned the console used, instruments used, and in which rooms of Abbey Road tracks were recorded.

This is a topic of intense debate, since it is very much like EQ'ing...there are guidelines, but to do this well, you need to use your ears and a bit of experience.

I have a Spirit 328 with an OZ audio HM-6 Q-mix.
The 328 have 4 aux's. I have a click, eight mics from the drums, 2 from guitar, 1 bass, 1 vocal.
