Are there any special considerations for building cue boxes for studio use handling up to 20 pairs of T-20s.

Also any special considerations for an amplifier for the same.

Years ago, when I was young and stupid, I fried the coil on a Richard Allen Pavane speaker. The other one seems to be OK and they're still sat here so I was wondering if anyone has heard of or used these speakers, if parts are available (I can't find any trace of the company anywhere) or of anyone in the UK or maybe even worldwide can repair the 12" bass speaker with a melted coil?

Hi I currently use a RNC compressor for overall mixes. Would an LA-2a either alone or after the RNC be a good second compressor to purchase for overall mixes?

A fellow studio owner called me today. He needs to sell his newly-reconditioned AMEK Mozart and wants about $20k. That seems like a lot of desk for the price to me.

How do you all like the AMEK Mozart? The sound, the automation, the EQs, the summing bus, the maintenance reputation?

Since VST and DXi instruments are audio sounds as opposed to being midi, is it feasable to export a song to wav or do you still have to record the whole song into your DAW as an audio file and then export as a wav?

So...you're running a session and a couple of the band members decide to have an argument...or one thing leads to another, and the vibe that was once there--isn't.

What do you do to get the thing back on track and productive again?

I have a line on a used Tascam M3500 at a great price in excellent condition. The guys says the faders need to be cleaned, but that's it. My only qusetion is, should I buy it? Are there any limitations I should be concerned about besdides the lack of phase (polarity) switches? I am upgrading from an Alesis Studio32 16 channel so pretty much anything else is going to be better than it.

Does anybody out there know anything about Flickenger eqs? A friend has been talking them up, but I never hear them.
