I need a good mic preamp, Just single channel. Which is the best buy the 737 (I've heard mixed results on the compressor), the Manley single channel mic preamp, or the Great River 2 channel? I'll probably buy the FMR when it comes out so I'm thinking of shying away from the Great River to get a tube model.

I am interested in real time looping as a performance. So far the only tools available are the Oberhiem Exhoplex Digital Pro and the Boomerang. Both suck in the audio quality dept compared to my RME Hammerfall card in my Nuendo system tho. So I'd like to turn Nuendo into one of these products.

Are both these designs based around a U67/87? If a U67 was refurbed would there really be that much difference between a U67 and an 87 because of the tube?

I'm thinking of buying one to check phase while tracking drums and to use for azimuth alignment on my 2" 24track. Anybody using one and can recommend a particular brand or model?

Does anyone know about Bonneville DA6 Distribution Amps? I saw one for sale and was wondering if it was any good. The one I saw is 1 in and 10 out. Seems like it would be cool for things like multiple guitar amps, or even sending to amps off aux sends.

As a video editor working on Avids I've heard that Pro Tools is the perfect complement(Control 24 or Pro Control) since they are both under the same company umbrella. My question is do all of you recording guru's agree or If you had the budget would you get something like the new Euphonics 5 series. We are primarily doing short form projects.

Picked up a NIB Antares 1 as I need all the help I can get on vocals. .With the factory settings am getting a good response for tone corrections. does anyone have experiance using the vibrato feature,and is it as useful as the tone correction? thanks in advance!
