Problems with SX3 - Questions about reinstallation
Forums
Hi - I am trying to deal with some issues on certain plugs that SX3 started having problems with, during the initializing process while Cubase was starting up. The conclusions on the Cubase board was that I would probably have to do a complete OS reinstallation as my registry was probably screwed. This wasn't on my top 10 list of things to do but I am willing to do it if nothing else works.
Please help: Broad Question.

i'm creating a recording studio from my iMac G5. I have the program called Logic Studio and i need some advice. I'm really going to be focusing on making reggaeton beats and hip hop beats as well as recording vocals to these beats. I need advice on what's the cheapest and best way to go to have decent sound quality like you hear on the radio.

Favorite snare drum compressor?
Forums
Anyone feel like sharing their faveorite compressor for the ever painful snare drum? I'm at a point in my mixing career that I'm tired of the built in compressor in Adobe Audition. And I'm also no longer satisfied by my mixes, i don't really know why but I just don't like how they sound, mainly in the drum department.

Music Albums: 1966-Present (NO FLAMING!)
Forums
Probably two of my favortie recording styles of all time are Led Zeppelin's "II" and "IV" albums and "The End of Heartache" (Killswitch Engage) and "The Oncoming Storm" (Unearth), both produced by Adam Dutkiewicz. I have a few questions regarding them:

PA spec. for conference
Forums
Hi,
I have been asked to spec. a system for a conference with up to 500 delegates.
The conference is to be held next year and as yet they have not finalised the venue yet. Two venues have been shortlisted - a large'ish sports hall and the other an open hall with lots of metal gurders in the roof.
