Okay, so here is my dilemma:

HI, I want to make a dance song on Pro Tools le. I'm just having problem in the track set up page. I dont know what instruments should be Mono and which Sterio. I know the difference between Sterio and MonoL but not sure when and where to use Sterio or Mono tracks. Can You Explain which instruments should be Sterio or Mono while recording on Protools?

I'm looking for some good budget monitors. What would you guys suggest. Headphones as well.

hey guys, i was just wondering. is there any way to reduce the buzz in an electric guitar? i always have this buzz even without gain involved(slightly lesser buzz) maybe a result of it being ungrounded. i have to put my finger on the string area or lower the volume to keep it quiet. my guitar is ok its just annoying esp when the overdrive kicks in. any DIY techniques are welcome.

Ok, I want to hard-wire my studio before I drywall. I will have basically 4 booths and another small live room that I want to have XLR, 1/4", and head phone wall plates in. Of course, the other end of these I want to end up in my control room and also to terminate into wall plates behind my desk so as to easily tie into whatever I need them to.

The majority of the recording I do is Oratorio in live concerts.

Typically 2 - 5 soloists either side of conductor, small orchestra often with hapsichord or chamber organ and about 100 person choir.

Ok, I'm having a serious problems recording audio on my PC. :(

I do my recording through my PC's sound card - the onboard Realtek AC97.
