Chameleon 7602 vs. . UA 610 Solo
Forums
While at Guitar Center I tracked some samples using each on their setup. It is way too hard to tell which to get. Could someone contrast a bit for me? I will be walking out of here with one or the other today.
Thanks guys!
Edit: I ended up buying the Chameleon. Let's see how it works out. Also, what do you all think of it?

[Informations] - Choosing a new Professional DAW Machine (CME VX8 controller)
Hello, I'm going to buy a new PC (serious DAW usage) so that I can run as many VST/ plugins I can (EWQL Symphonic Orchestra, EWQL Symphonic Choir, GPO, VSL) without having glitches/fuzz/clicks/noise/etc (lowest latency possible).
Here are some info:
PC Usage:
Neunendo using 2 drivers
Forums
Hey,
I recently have bought a audio card for recording but I can't connect it to my 5.1 speakers as its a stereo card. So what I'm aiming to do is find a way so that the input is my new audio card and the output is the card built into my pc already... with out me having to keep switching between drivers. is there a way to get 2 different drivers to work together?

Sell Tampa, DMP3 & VTB1 to buy Blue Robbie?
Forums
Hi. I've just seen the Blue Robbie preamp on ebay for $599. Would this preamp be worth me selling my Tampa, DMP3 and VTB1? Is the Blue Robbie gonna be much better than what I already have?
Would I be putting all my eggs in one basket and be better off keeping what I already have for different flavours and versatility?
Thanks

Laptop - sending audio out
Forums
I'm looking to purchase a laptop for a mobile recording rig and to use for my home editing, tracking, and mixing. What is the best way of sending the audio out of the laptop? I may decide to route the signal back into a mixer or straight to the monitors. Is there an external sound card I could buy for the laptop that will have all the great connections going out.

Legal difference between Music and Lyrics?
Forums
When one person supplies the music (chords, beat, arrangement, instrumentation) and another person writes the lyrics and composes the vocal melody, who is considered the "writer" of the song?
Generally speaking, is the writer of the lyrics and vocal melody entitled to a greater share in performance royalties than the person who composed the music bed?

Does anybody have experience with a Yamaha AW2400 or Roland?
Forums
I looked at all the digital workstations in my price range and although the Roland 2400 can be hooked up to a mouse and screen it did not have the features of the Yamaha.
The Roland did not even have an insert on the pre's.
It also looked like the Roland needed some extra software and cards to do what the Yamaha does.
ringing out a system
Forums
what's the "proper" way to ring out a system after setting up a room?
is it best to go microphone-by-microphone? or floor monitor-by-floor monitor?
generally i'll just turn up gain on each mic until the brink of squealing and adjust the EQ on my mixer.

PreSonus Firebox
Forums
I've read on the PreSonus website that you can use a Firebox (or any other interface they make) as a sound card for all your sounds. They give the way to do it in the FAQs but I can't get it to work for my computer...
Any advice on what to do, maybe plugged something wrong or not doing the good thing on the computer... if any one has done this, how can I do it?
