I finally had a chance to run some signals through my Seb!-I havent had a chance to run a mic through it-----but I have run a complete mix through it ----you may say---Im one happy camper 8-) 8-) 8-)

I can get hold of a pair of Peak Audio PSM-250A active monitors for $AUS399 (100WRMS, 6.5" + 1", claimed 35Hz-20kHz)...

Just wondering if anyone has had any experience with these monitors or whether they are a waste of time? They look fine on paper, but I won't have a chance to hear them before I buy.

Okay, I have to admit I find it kinda funny looking back, but it really hacked me off when they first said it:

I received my Sebatron VMP 2000e VU yesterday and I’m really excited about it. I have a RODE K2 on it’s way to take advantage of what the Sebatron has to offer. But in the meantime I’m just using this old Shure SM58 to play around until it gets here. I noticed something very alarming... a LOT of noise.

We have a DAC-1, back end of the audio spectrum(out from DAW). Want 2 kno what is the difference or which is better sonically between these 2:

Apogee Rosetta 200 vs Benchmark DAC-1

Wanted 2 knno from others about which end is more improtant 2 have(if u have 2 have just the 1)?

We are a hip hop production team/company. We make beats using mostly samples and keyboard. So we dont do any live recording. No special outboard gear(yet). We track using our beat machines(MPC/Triton) patched directly 2 our Digi 002. Thats it.

never see any postings for this mic.very sensitive mic having trouble with vocals.can't seem to get it to dialed in.even with a low amount of gain it distorts way to easily for male blues type vocals.It sounds killer on cymbals though.all i'm doing is running the mic thru 1 channel on the ghost with no compression.

I must confess that although I am starting this thread I haven't any idea nor inclination to learn through hard work, how Tiger is gonna affect music and Core Audio performance.

I own a Soundcraft Ghost le24 which I use with an 8 track analog setup and I'm looking to upgrade to a 24 track hard disk but would like to know the following from a Soundcraft Ghost user like what's the deal do I have to ride the gain on the channel to +6 to get to +4dbu on my channel strip direct out?

My Inspiron has one iLink port and I've added a 3-port firewire pcmcia card. Unfortunately, the iLink port was damaged and the connection can be lost if the cable is nudged.
