Sony EMCs
Forums
I bought three mics for about $15 a while ago. They sound great and i feel like i got a deal, although they're obviously not from this decade. Anyway, they are Sony ECMs models ecm-270 (200z condensor), ecm- 250 (cardioid condensor), and another i can't remember because it's being borrowed, but it's an omni. So what's the deal with these?

mbox compatible with varieties of programs?
Forums
Would any one know if it's phisically possible for the dumb mbox to work with other programs besides Pro Tools, like with Sonar 4, Adobe Audition, and Premier? Does it need extra hardware or special program for windows xp to recognize in all programs this sound device.
What would I have to install or configure in order to use it diversly throughout my system?

Need Help with my Tapco 6306 mixer
Forums
I have a tapco 6306 and the power stopped working, and I don't know if it is the mixer or the transformer that is the problem. The transformer is a 9V with 1.5 Amps and that is very rare so i can't even find it at radio shack. Any suggestions on trying to figure out the problem.
Thanks

Noob to both forum & recording...
Forums
Hey folks
I tried to use the search feature but that wouldn't load for me, so my sincere apologies if this is a dumb / ignorant / repetitive / complete noob question.
I recently picked up a M Audio Ozone. This is a pretty cool deck, does more or less what I need to do with it. Using my acoustic guitar & mic I can capture songs (using Live software for the time being).
